Synopsis

Millionaire, J.P. Merrick, hears of his employees at one of his department stores planning to unionize. In order to uncover the masterminds of the plan, he masquerades as a sales-clerk to investigate labor issues raised by employees in his department store. Not realizing his true identity, he is befriended by many, including a charming girl with whom he falls in love.
